Ajrakh + Pastel Pistachio Inflorescence Divine Pichwai Glass Rhapsody Lumba Rangoli
DETAILS IN DETAIL: Our IBHI is made using historic-heritage textiles of India, so of course this IBHI has its own history, not very old though. This IBHI was designed and created as a Rangoli during the festive season, yet it evolved as a multi-purpose and versatile Platter. It is a stand alone single piece beauty, it has two different sides, it is covered in flat digital print on both sides with solid silk rim, which makes it two-sided. The basal diameter of this Platter is 10 inches, it is firm and sturdy. The Platter has our signature lumba tassels which are hand-sewn on at the base, the spherical beads are made using wood with rose gold beads wrapped inside out. Each sphere has a bunch of 85 fibre based dull golden beads. Along with the tassles, the total diameter of the Platter is 15 inches.
The Platter has a small loop made using silk chandan thread, which is small enough to not be visible but strong enough to hold the entire Platter when hung on a wall as decor. Flat on a surface or suspended on a wall, this Platter is ultra versatile.
The pictures and videos are shot using Iphone 13 Pro and have undergone no post-processing edits to make sure that you have an exact perception of the IBHI.
PACKAGING: Just how we make this IBHI with love, we pack them with love ultra pro max! We cut silk fabric and protective packaging material into a six petal flower and close it into a bundle using tasseled silk thread.
ABOUT TRADITIONAL RANGOLIS: Rangoli is a traditional form of Indian art, typically created on the floor using vibrant colored powders, rice, sand or flower petals. It is commonly practiced in India, Nepal, and other South Asian countries during festivals and special occasions, particularly Diwali, the festival of lights.
