Diyas/Traditional Lamps
The diya is the heart of Diwali. This collection brings together traditional oil lamps and their modern cousins: antique-finish parrot diyas, German silver samai standing lamps, brass tulsi lamps and square ceramic holders hand-painted with florals.
Most designs accept both ghee or oil with a cotton wick and standard tea lights, so you can light them the traditional way on Dhanteras and switch to tea lights for the rest of the week. Many families buy in sets of five, seven or eleven for the threshold and windowsills.
